Parameterization Kit for Modo
🛠️ Parameterization Kit for Modo
The Parameterization Kit for Modo is a research-grade plugin that brings a variety of cutting-edge UV parameterization algorithms directly into Modo. Using libraries such as CGAL and libigl, this toolkit provides powerful UV unwrapping workflows including conformal, authalic, ARAP, SLIM, and more.
Ideal for technical artists, developers, or those wanting fine-control over mesh UV parameterization in Modo.
This kit contains a direct moding tool and a procedural mesh operator for macOS and Windows.

✨ Key Features
- Multiple parameterization methods: Discrete Conformal Map, Authalic (area-preserving), Mean Value Coordinates, LSCM, ARAP, SLIM (Scalable Locally Injective Maps)
- Automatically triangulates N-gon meshes (using Ear Clipping or optional CDT) to improve parameterization quality.
- Seam-edge control: select edges to define seams; automatically fallback to boundary edges if none selected.
BORDER (Fixed Border Surface Parameterizations)
LSCM (Least Square Comformal Maps)
ARAP (As Ridgid As Possible)
SLIM (Scalable Locally Injective Maps)
